Temples throbbing, pulse racing, head about to explode! No, not a description of a pending aneurism - it's my reaction to the facts I am reading in a new book by Senior Writer at World Net Daily, Aaron Klein. The book is The Manchurian President: Barack Obama's Ties to Communists, Socialists, and other Extremists.

Many committed Conservatives are well-informed already about Obama's unsavory affiliations. Many read Jerome Corsi's ObamaNation and numerous other tomes on Barry's murky past and links to Soros, ACORN, Rezko, Ayers, Wright, and so on. Then there's the administration and so-called czars who are card-carrying Communists, sexual deviants, and America-haters committed to a CHANGE that the average voting American did not see coming until it was too late.

Aaron Klein and his co-author and investigative writer and historian, Brenda J. Elliott, have fleshed out the bones of the Obama story as well as those of his affiliates and allies. Klein and Elliott have done the job the mainstream, network media once did as voraciously as they now do to withhold and obfuscate the horrendous truth about the little known, unaccomplished lawyer from Chicago who now lays claim to the highest office in the land and who is carrying out his own plan of mass destruction on the economy and personal freedoms about which only Osama bin Laden could fantasize.

Not my Daddy's General Motors

If you watch TV these days you likely noticed the CEO of GM touting their payback of the government bailout money, with interest, and way before the due date.

The ad features GM’s Chairman and CEO, Ed Whitacre, who declares that “we have repaid our government loan in full, with interest, five years ahead of the original schedule.”

Well, not so fast Government Motors. The Competitive Enterprise Institute is filing a complaint with the FTC over this inaccurate and misleading advertising.

In its complaint, CEI explains that GM's claim “gives the false impression that GM has used its own funds to pay back all the bailout money that it received from the federal government. In fact, GM has only repaid a fraction of those funds—barely ten percent. Moreover, GM apparently repaid its loan by using other federal funds.”

In June 2008, the racial cowards of the Chicago Archdiocese put Pfleger on a temporary leave to quell churchgoers’ outrage over Pfleger’s Hillary Clinton-mimicking, America-bashing, Vanilla Ice-prancing, Jeremiah Wright-impersonating, Louis Farrakhan-embracing cult leader. After laying low a measly few weeks to “reflect” on his outbursts, Pfleger returned triumphantly to the pulpit. And now, he’ll be feted by the Archbishop for his toxic tongue.

Justice -- Military Style

I will spend my day today as a free person, free to do whatever I want; to go anywhere, to work, to shop, out to dinner with my husband, free to choose what I desire from the menu. I am a free American, free to live my life as I choose. I am free because of so many people who gave their lives for my freedom, and because of so many more today who wear a uniform and take up arms to defend my freedom. But for how long? When did acts of war become subject to criminal charges? When did the toxin of political correctness invade the last bastion of patriotism and security? Why is the military so confused about its role and why does it allow lawyers to scrutinize every move and override military training to destroy the lives of those who actualize their directive as soldier? And why are we putting the enemy above our own defenders? How did this happen and who allowed it to happen?

I often listen to Michael Savage on talk radio. Yes, he is an acquired taste, but like fine spirits he dances on your consciousness and leaves you drenched in Truth. Dr. Savage has regularly featured the abominations occurring in the military masquerading as Justice. One prosecution after another of fine soldiers, Marines and Navy Seals who did nothing more than carry out their duty. I don't know if these criminal proceedings sprung from John Murtha's scandalous accusation that the Haditha incident involved Marines "killing innocent civilians in cold blood", or did it go back to John Kerry's lies that soldiers in Viet Nam were reminiscent of Genghis Khan's marauding hordes, or his statements more recently accusing our military of victimizing innocent Iraqis "in the dark of night." Are these guys pulling these characterizations out of their own memories of their unsavory actions when serving in the military or maybe just pulling them out of some other, darker part of their anatomy?

Michael Savage is exposing another travesty of military justice, that of Lt. Michael Behenna. While I dined on grilled shrimp last night in Leawood, Kansas, I thought of a young man, a member of the famed 101st Airborne, sitting in a prison cell just miles to the Northwest of me in Fort Leavenworth Kansas.

Lt. Behenna was convicted by a military jury of murder of an Al Qaeda operative linked to an attack on Behenna's platoon in 2008 resulting in the deaths of two of his men as well as two Iraqis working with them. The story can be found at http://defendmichael.wordpress.com

Beyond the outrage for another soldier being charged as a criminal for an act of war, and likely self-defense, is the fact that the prosecution, military lawyers, withheld exculpatory evidence from defense counsel. Evidence developed from the prosecution's own expert witness, a renowned forensic scientist who consulted in O.J. Simpson's murder case and participated in investigations concerning the assassinations of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert Kennedy.

After hearing Dr. Savage discuss this case and reading about it online, I emailed Vicki Behenna, Michael's mother, who is also a Department of Justice attorney and was part of the prosecution team in the Timothy McVeigh case (Oklahoma federal building bomber). Vicki responded to me with a personal email asking for help and directing me to Michael's web page. She asks that we share Michael's story with as many people as possible, sign his petition, donate to the legal defense fund, and write to Michael.

Please help me help Vicki and her son, Michael, a young man who pledged his life to keep us safe and free. I can't help wonder when Vicki's boss, AG Eric Holder will come to her aid? He had no trouble dropping the case against the Black Panthers (who brandished weapons and threatened voters in Pennsylvania in 2008 indicating they intended to get Obama elected President), even after the government won its case on default judgment. The Black Panthers threatened American citizens who intended to exercise their right to vote. They were set free, free of prosecution and free of just punishment. Major Nadal Hasan was promoted through the ranks in the Army despite openly proselytizing for radical Islam and jihad against fellow American soldiers culminating in his murderous assault on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood. He is provided legal counsel courtesy of the American taxpayer. KSM and his 9/11 terror cohorts, despite pleading guilty to the infamous terror attack on US soil and the deaths of thousands, are provided defense counsel and will be given a public forum for their anti-American filth at the expense of the American taxpayer, courtesy of Mr. Holder, and Obama, again.

In Memorium - Robert Schindler

I did not realize I was a pro-life activist until the Terri Schindler Schiavo case was aired in the public domain.

I get so tired of uninformed people who assert that Terri needed to be "allowed to die" as she was on life support. Nothing could be further from the truth. Terri was a young woman who was brain damaged by an unknown cause, likely an incident where her husband, who had the habit of grabbing people by the throat when he got angry, did so to her causing her to collapse and suffer oxygen deprivation to the brain. Terri was healthy; she was disabled.

After her husband decided not to continue her care and therapy she deteriorated and required assistance with eating, thus a feeding tube was inserted rather than pay a nurse assistant to help her eat. She was healthy; she was disabled.

Her husband moved on to other women settling down with one whose children he fathered. He stood to inherit a million dollar trust on Terri's death. Thus began the circus of ending her life. Her family merely wanted to care for her, her husband wanted to kill her. And Michael Schiavo got an ignorant man wearing a black robe with a gavel in his hand to agree with him ordering Terri's execution by the State of Florida by way of dehydration and starvation. I watched this horror every night and the images and pain of it have never left me and never will.

In recent years, I have had the singular pleasure of meeting Terri's siblings, Suzanne and Bobby, on more than one occasion, and also Fr. Frank Pavone, of Priests for Life, a true priest, who ministered to Terri to her final breath of life.

"My Dad never sought to become famous or to be labeled an 'activist,'" says Bobby Schindler. "He got that title by simply fighting for what he believed in – something precious to him – my sister, Terri."

The Passing of a Real Hero

Today the pro-life movement mourns the loss of Mr. Robert Schindler, Sr., the father of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, whose fight for life captured the heart of the pro-life community in 2005. Mr. Schindler is being buried in Philadelphia today without the fanfare or accolades that are due a real champion who fought one of the most insidious evils of modern society - the legalized murder of the innocent. His funeral will not be televised on all the cable news networks, no cardinals will attend it, and the President of the United States will not deliver the eulogy - thank God. Mr. Schindler, however, is promised a better send-off than that. God Himself will him speak to him words spoken to all the suffering righteous: "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Master."

It is hard not to notice the contrast between the funerals of Senator Edward Kennedy and Bob Schindler. The secular, brash and privileged "Lion of the Senate" had everything that the world had to offer, including comprehensive political protection from his Waterloo; the Chappaquiddick incident in 1969. He walked away from that one scot-free, and the country ever after that conveniently pretended it didn't happen because no one would want to tarnish the image of a famous political family. Americans find it just too messy to honestly address casual killing. Ted Kennedy went on to continue his murderous rampage in his political career through his contemptible advocacy of legalized killing through abortion and the farcical defense of Roe by vetoing potential Supreme Court judges who might have rectified that terrible injustice in our country. Among the many sins he will have to account for before the Throne of Grace, his criminally buffoonish and cowardly causing of Mary Jo Kopechne's death and its subsequent cover-up were perhaps the least. Ted Kennedy had a lot of innocent blood on his hands as he went to his judgment, as do all people who advocate or stand aside in silence at the destruction of the innocents.

Bob Schindler, in contrast, was not endowed with the privileges of wealth and social status, nor the political machine that could protect his back side in times of trouble. His family was ravaged by aggressive euthanasia activist lawyers who decided that his daughter was just not worthy of life because she was brain-damaged. He had to fight the son-in-law from hell who, despite a father's unconditional offer to care for his own daughter, rammed the euthanasia agenda home viciously, even triumphantly. Bob had to endure the agony of three separate court-ordered starvations of his daughter, the third of which took her life in a brutal act of gloating evil that many compared to the Passion of Christ. Bob was the faithful father standing at the foot of the Cross and his vigils took place without the companionship of any cardinal or bishop there to rally the saints in defense of his daughter. His greatest sorrow was indeed that the very leadership of his Church, like the apostles in the Garden of Gethsemane, should have abandoned his family in their hour of need. Indeed, his local bishop somehow found more pressing needs in Asia and was AWOL in defense of Terri the week she was murdered. But despite the failings of the men who are given earthly powers to guide the Church, God never abandons his children. Bob was always in the company of the very best, sent from Heaven, and it is our firm belief that the angels are welcoming him home today as he meets the glory of God and at long last, is reunited with the daughter he loves so much.

No one deserves the kind of treatment meted out to him and his family, but Bob did not take it sitting down. He stood up and fought long and hard for what was right and showed us how to persevere in all our bitter battles. His heroism was humble and virtuous; despite opposition from all sides, despite being abandoned by churchmen, despite the slander his family endured, he held himself up and never faltered. He never "ran from the scene" as Kennedy did at Chappaquiddick; he stood his ground and faced the battle and then he did not let the story end there. If there was anyone whose suffering gave him a right to bitterly blame others and withdraw from the rest of the world's problems, it was Bob Schindler. But he did not go that route. He was too much of a man of faith for that. Rather, he and his family set up the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation to assist all others who have are increasingly thrust into that same fight and need someone who has "been there" to stand against the powerful perpetrators of crimes against humanity who sit in our political culture arrogating to themselves the power of life and death, a power that has not been given to them.

Since Terri's Fight in 2005 I have had the supreme privilege of standing next to Bob and the Schindler family on the front lines in the battle against the culture of death and its champions; but I know a real champion when I see one. Bob Schindler certainly paid a martyr's price for his fidelity to the enduring values of faith and family and was a hero in every sense of the word. I will miss him! Indeed, we all will miss him, but we know that his spirit lives on in all those who patiently suffer injustice and in those who fight for life against the lions who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

March on DC - A View from the Heartland

The following is a report of the 9/12 D.C. March experience of Rachael Wohletz, a parishioner from Our Lady of Good Counsel, Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. I am reading so many such reports and have a hard time doing so through the tears of joy that fill my eyes. I plan to clear my schedule no matter what for the next one. If this one was around 2 million marchers, imagine what the next will be as our numbers grow! (I have altered not a word.)

Patriotic Dissent: The Astroturf Mob in Washington, DC

9/12/09

The excitement was tangible, preparing for the most important trip of my life to this point. This was not a vacation, and it wasn’t going to feel like one, either. My dad, my boss, and I were gearing up for an exhaustive amount of traveling. We were going to Washington, DC, to show them we are not going to put up with big (and intrusive) government or a new American brand of Socialism. Period.

Our itinerary was not an easy one: we flew out of Kansas City on Friday, September 11, in the evening, and arrived late in Washington, DC. We stayed at the Navy Lodge by Bolling Air Force Base, rising at 6am to take a cab to Freedom Plaza (just 2 blocks from the White House). After the March on Washington we were flying home the same day. But let me tell you: it was well worth it!

Taking the taxi from the Naval base to Freedom Plaza was very surreal. Here we were, in our nation’s capital, passing the historical attractions that bring millions to it every year on sight-seeing trips. And yet, the only way we were going to see these monuments ourselves was in our march past them on Pennsylvania Avenue.

There would be no tourism for us. We were dropped off just two blocks from the White House; we could see the gate and fence clearly from where we alighted. Somehow, however, I knew the occupant was not home. We arrived at Freedom Plaza around 8am, and a small crowd was gathering. The schedule for the day’s events had specified an 8:30am meeting time, so I was dismayed at the thought of only a small throng of patriots, instead of the hundreds of thousands for whom we were hoping. At 8:30, the people started coming…in droves. They flooded the side streets, conquered the Plaza, and plugged the main political artery in DC like a blood clot. We were here! And we were proud!

There were some amazing speeches, by ordinary Americans who had no teleprompter, and some with no real speaking experience. The invocation at the beginning was led by Lt. Col. Courtney Rogers (retired), and it was inspiring to the core. There is a part of the prayer called “restore” (she handed out pamphlets with the words of her prayer so we could pass it along) that moved me deeply. Her passion while saying the words was incredible, and genuine. Here is a part of the prayer:

We pray that we all find the courage, commitment, and resolve, to offer our time, our resources, our leadership, and our lives, to answer Your call.

“Restore Me.”

Restore Me in your hearts.

Restore Me in your homes.

Restore Me in your schools and at work.

Restore Me in your city halls and state capitols.

Restore Me in your Supreme Court.

Restore Me in the Halls of Congress and of the Senate.

Restore Me in the White House itself.

The cheers rang out after every call to restore God in our government faculties. The godlessness of our leaders and their push for the godlessness of our country is a prelude to the coming onslaught on our freedom.

After the invocation and a rousing speech by an African-American minister from Shreveport, LA, over the loud speaker came one of my favorite post-9/11 songs: “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” by Toby Keith. The crowd was singing along, applauding the patriotic words and the strength behind them. We were pumped up, ready to rock and bring our country back to the rightful owners: us, the American people. At one point, in the midst of the growing masses and the powerful speeches, a black man was walking through the crowd near me, calling on us to “burn down the White House” and “go hang that n*****.”

I was confused, wondering how someone so incredibly hostile had come to join our cause. Then I realized that he was an agitator, sent by someone who wanted to discredit our authenticity and make us all out to appear racist. I started following him with my video rolling. When I called him out on his mission, he immediately began a barrage of illogical insults, calling me a “white devil” and suggesting that the only reason we were there was because the president is black. A few of us were attempting to reason with him, explaining it is about his character and ideology, not his color. I pointed to all the signs around us, becoming irate at his accusations (I am done putting up with ridiculous insults and unreasonable claims of racism and anarchy), and I told him to show me ONE sign that depicted Obama’s race rather than his philosophy. Of course, someone that ignorant of our cause and closed-minded about society isn’t going to listen, or even hear me at all, but I felt it needed to be said. I will be sending that video to every news station I can. This is deliberate misdirection and misapplication of the values we are trying to keep intact. We won’t stand for it.

And yet, with all the insults and name-calling this man was throwing out at us, he walked through the crowd untouched. No one attacked him, no one threatened him. THAT is the caliber of people we are. I wonder if we would have received the same treatment from his friends had the situation been reversed. (Finger removal, anyone?)Thankfully, that was the only incident of this nature of which I’m aware.

Soon after that, we began our march down to the Capitol building. We claimed Pennsylvania Avenue as our own that morning, making our way toward the one place that should represent everything that we hold dear, and all on which this country was founded. As I got closer to the Capitol, I became enraged at the corruption and lack of dignity with which these people WE elected have infiltrated it. How dare they have the audacity to treat their constituents and fellow Americans with such disdain and contempt. How dare they ignore us!

Even after the main portion of the Americans had reached the Capitol, the streets continued to fill as more and more and more people joined. It was endless! CNN said there were approximately 30,000 people in attendance. That would have been impressive, yes, but certainly not as impressive as the 1.2 million people the law enforcement officer estimated to a fellow patriot. They have a way of being able to tell how many people are there based by where the crowd ends on the lawn. His assessment was given before the remainder of the crowd had arrived. Fox News estimated 1.4 million, and NBC (shocker!) estimated 2 million! Regardless of the actual figure, suffice it to say we made our point in numbers.

The experience of this movement has been powerful for me. President Obama talks about bi-partisanship. That is what we are! Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Catholics, Protestants, Atheists, all with one big thing in common: we are AMERICANS and are PROUD of it! We do NOT want to see the fabric of our beloved country torn to shreds by corrupted, selfish, power-hungry “representatives,” regardless of their party affiliation. The purpose for our “tea parties” is not just health care. That certainly is the icing on the cake, but our cause embodies all our core principles. We are against abortion, excessive spending, big government, higher taxes instead of the “line-by-line audit” that was promised and not delivered by our president, Socialism (or similar tactics), corruption (including associations of deplorable character and records), and a usurpation of our rights (such as the first and second Amendments). Let it be known to all those who would destroy our liberty: We are coming for you, November 2010. Be prepared to lose your job.

It's 09/09/09, Whew! So much to say about politics. It's getting hotter and hotter. Can't wait to see and hear what Glen Beck is going to disclose this week. Breitbart has connected the dots of what we all knew: Obama and his cronies are anti-American, globalist, anti-Christian, racist black nationalist, radical communist sympathizers out to destroy our freedoms, our economy, our American way of life. The proof is now out there. Van Jones, Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright, Valerie Jerrit, Michelle Obama, Mark Lloyd, Bill Ayers, Rahm Emmanuel, Eric Holder ... Can't wait to see what the MSM will not do about it.
